Crock Pot Cinnamon Applesauce

A house smelling of apples and cinnamon on a slightly chilly day is the best way to get in the fall mood. Crock pot cinnamon applesauce is great for the current fall weather.

With no added sugar and a bit of cinnamon, applesauce in the crock pot is a delightful, healthy choice.

You can find good apples at the farmer’s market this time of year and you know they are fresh, too.

Cut and put the apples in a crock pot with water, cinnamon, and apple cider vinegar. I leave the skin on for added nutrients and texture. It’s up to you.

This is how it will look when it is finished.

Puree the apples or mash, whichever you prefer. I like to use a hand blender where there are still chunks left.

This applesauce also freezes well for a few months! I like to keep some on hand for a craving.
