You may ask, why is this considered healthy cookie dough? It’s got butter in it and fatty almonds! Oh my gosh. These two things actually contain vitamins.
I’ll take some butter and ground up almonds over a bunch of flour and sugar.
Yes, it’s been awhile AGAIN. I know all about it. We decided to sell our house in a matter of a few weeks and moved in with my parents and now waiting to close on another house. I’ve been busy. Not to mention two little kids with all this moving around. Now that it’s Daylight Saving and these kids don’t know about sleeping an extra hour, here we are.

I don’t think this needs to be guilty. This cookie dough has filling ingredients so hopefully not as many will do the trick.
Now straight to it. Try out this recipe for some edible healthy cookie dough. Almond flour is obviously more expensive but you pay for better things to eat. Costco is pretty cheap for almond flour if you have access. I recommend the Kerry gold butter as well.

Healthy Edible Cookie Dough
Ingredients
- 2 cups almond flour
- 4 tbsp butter or coconut oil, soft
- 2 tbsp maple syrup can use more if needed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- chocolate chips or any add-ins
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together. Add the add-ins last. Roll into balls or eat with a spoon. Enjoy! Store these in the fridge. Maybe even the freezer perhaps.
